Align Vertices Blender Addon ( Any vector not only XYZ plane)
Very useful, very simple and easy to use quality of life tool.
Straighten lines of vertices even when not along an x, y or z plane ( But it will straighten them too).
Align vertices in a direct line from the two outermost verts.
Works with verts from different objects at the same time if they are both selected in Edit Mode.
Warning: Once you start using it, there's no going back and lining up/straightening anything is as simple as having two outer verts in place in any vector, then rest snap into place.
Usage:
At least 3 vertices must be selected, does not have to be connected verts or the same object or along a plane.
1. Enter Edit Vertex mode and select the vertices you want to line up
2. Press Ctrl+Shift+A to align vertices.
3. Optional: Scroll mousewheel for even spacing between verts
To change the shortcut, go to Edit > Preferences > Keymap and search for 'Align Vertices'.
Note: For Blender 4+. Has updated plugin manifest
You will get a zip file. To install Edit > Preferences > Add-ons > Install. Or newer versions of Blender Edit > Preferences > Add-ons > ( top left dropdown arrow ) > Install From Disk
